The State Bank of India (SBI), the largest public sector lender in India, has given Rs 2,500 to each of its employees ahead of the festival of lights, Diwali. The allocation of Rs. 2,500 per head has been made from Welfare Funds for the distribution of sweets/dry fruits among all employees. The distribution of sweets/dry fruits is to be done just before the Deepawali Festival, as per the instructions mentioned in the SBI circular.
