IT giant Wipro Ltd. announced on Thursday that its net profit for the three months that ended on June 30 increased by 11.9% to Rs 2,870.1 crore.
The company stated in a regulatory filing that during the first quarter of the current fiscal year (Q1FY24), “It registered an increase of 6% year-over-year (YoY) in its gross sales to Rs 22,830 crore. The company’s net income for the first quarter of FY24 was Rs 2,870 crore, an increase of 12% YoY.
On July 12, 2023, the corporation will distribute 5,10,330 equity shares under the ADS Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 as a result of ESOPs being exercised.
